This is now the third time I have had to completely reset my tablet (Trio Stealth G2) due to the message "com. google. gapps has stopped". I did a factory data reset, which always fixes this problem. Recently, the screen cracked and I had it replaced, then did the reset, and got to work attempting to re-install the apps I previously had.
I have only installed Google Chrome and a game so far. The game requires download to play, and every time the message "Insufficient Memory" pops up saying I have 0MB of storage available. Storage reads:
Total space: 1.94GB
Apps: 395MB
Available: 1.49GB
I have no SD card. Since the reset I've changed no settings. There is no music, pictures, videos, or anything like that taking up memory. My attempt to reboot it didn't affect it at all. I just got this tablet at Christmas and it was gone for months while a friend replaced the screen and attempted to find a solution to the "com. google. gapps" issue that wasn't a complete reset, with no success. It just came back two days ago and I am very fed up with these issues and anxious for it to work again!! Please need help in language I can understand, I'm not a tech genius!!
