Insufficient storage available, even though i have 1.5GB left!?

I want to download an app, that is ONLY 40kb (app from school) but i cant download it because it always says "insufficient storage available", even though i have 1.5GB left!
As you know in my previous threads i have an Samsung Galaxy Trend (Version 4.0.2).
And in this phone or version, the "Move to SD card" is completely missing and i can't move anything to the SD card.
How do i remove this "insufficient storage available" because i have plenty of space left!!
I don't want to root my phone either

Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.
