insufficient storage available resolution

I had a problem with the recent facebook update and i got an error message saying " insufficient storage available", i read a ton of forums and how to permanently delete apps and i found that i could use titanium back up to do this, but i had to dig a lot so im hoping this will make it more simple for people. So here are the steps i used to get the " insufficient storage available" error message to go away and get it to update correctly and hopefully this will help with other apps.
Download titatium backup from the market
click the top middle button
find the app that is causing the problem
uninstall it useing titanium back up
Reinstall app from market
you might have to restart your phone if it force closes
Im not saying this will work but its a possible solution to fix it and i really hope it does works for you. Good luck!
