I have a Galaxy Note 4 Edge with the Wireless Insurance Plan with Asurion. Today my screen cracked diagonally. I thought that my upgrade eligibility wasn't going to be until December, but found that I'm actually eligible now. I have enjoyed the Note series, but I am aware of the problems with the Note 7, and that they are no longer selling it.
Would Asurion tell me what phone they would send as a replacement for the Note 4 Edge? Would it be worth it to pay the $200 deductible for a replacement phone, and wait to upgrade later?
If I were to decide to upgrade now, I doubt I would be offered any trade in on the Note 4 Edge, becaue of the cracked screen, and I haven't been keeping up with what phones are highly regarded in Verizon's current offerings to know if I should just upgrade or wait. No interest in an iPhone.
Open to all opinions!
