Insurance?

I have seen no mention of any insurance or replacement plan for LG phones such as Samsung and Motorola offer. I am assuming that carrier insurance plans, or maybe someone like SquareTrade, is/are the only option?

Manufacturers don't offer insurance, so those are the only options for any phone. (Square Trade isn't the only non-carrier insurance, and stores like Best Buy have their own insurance plans.)

I wished companies did offer this for flagships because I never buy them.

I was offered for my S6 edge for additional $8.00 a month and then a $150 deductible. No thanks.

Apple, Samsung, and Microsoft all offer insurance. They are all around $100 and deductibles $50-$79.

LG does not.

Samsung just started offering insurance last month. The plans cost $100 for the S6 and $130 for the Edge for up to 3 claims over a 2 year period. The deductible is $75 for the S6 and $95 for the Edge.
