Interested in buying a foreign phone, any suggestions?

I wanted to grab an affordable overseas smartphone. Does anybody in the US own a Xiaomi, Doogee, etc that the could recommend?

I'm not looking to spend more than probably $300. Would like at least a couple gb's of RAM, 18 by 9 display ratio & infinity display would be nice if possible.
