Interesting (annoying) sound playback issues

Recently I have run into quite a sound problem. My ear piece basically doesn't work at all, and to talk to somebody, I have to use the speaker phone. BUT if I want to listen to music, the speaker phone doesn't work, and I have to use head phones.

And a second problem, my phone won't receive texts as of last night. My wife's identical phone receives find, and I can send texts, just can't receive them... Grrr

For the audio issues, have you tried the SoundAbout app?

I have not, I will though. What is it suppose to do? I feel like its a driver issue, as when this happened, I had not downloaded a new app for a month or so.

It lets you route audio the way you want. It has helped many people with various audio issues. it's worth a shot.
