My battery has always just OK. I lived in an area where service was 1-3 bars most of the time, which never really helped. But two weeks ago I moved to the DC area and have FULL bars and two bars of 4G. But for the last 4 days my battery has been HORRIBLE!! I've been getting 4-5 hours at best without even using the phone. I started to get worried, and I was going to take the phone in to sprint and get a new battery. I pulled the battery...nothing.
So yesterday I was sitting in my office and I noticed my phone showed the "Evo" screen when you restart it. So it just turned itself off while it was on the charger. After it came back on I inspected it and everything seemed fine. After it was charged up again I took it off and ran a few errands the rest of the day. I was gone for about 3 hours. Got home and looked at my phone and I still had 90% left. I thought, hmm thats weird. So I left it on the rest of the night and heavily used it. Got to 60% when I went to bed. Today I woke up and used it all day (light use), never put it on the charger, and its at 65%. This is a HUGE improvement. I guess I'm just a little confused, and I hope this never changes. Has this happened to anyone else?
