I am reading through the T-mobile manual, that was posted on XDA. I found a few interesting things....

Apparently you can use your Note 7 to charge another device....

"Reverse Charging
The included USB Connector allows you to charge
another device through a USB cable. When connected,
your battery is used to charge the other device, and "

Notes.... it looks like there are no more action memos. All s-pen notes will be the same. I knew they were combining the apps, but I figured there would still be a difference between a quick note, and a more 'formal' note.

T-mobile still has download booster.
It looks like T-Mo also has wifi calling on it.

Night Clock
Set up a clock that displays on the Edge screen
when the screen is off. Night mode is available for a
maximum of 12 hours.
This was news to me... I wonder what other edge features there might be.

App power monitor: Put apps to sleep so that
they do not use battery power when not in use.
Tap Save power to enable.
• Unmonitored apps: Select apps to exclude from
being put to sleep by the App power monitor.
These options are in the battery settings... is this part of Doze?

Auto Restart
Optimize your device by restarting it automatically at
set times. The device only restarts if it is not in use and
battery power is more than 30%.
A great idea.

I know that USB-C allows the use of the port to send power in Android Marshmallow.

Would be fun to use my Note7 as a battery bank. xD

These options are already in SM-G935U (S7 edge US unlocked version)

I noticed the last time when I connected both of my S7 Edge phones to transfer something between the two using Smart Switch that the batterie indicators showed they were charging and same with my Note 5. It's nothing new.

Also on my Note 5
Not my AT&T note 5

New is in the eye of the beholder. An extremely small number of people have the s7 edge and are considering or will get a Note 7.... so for the 99.9999% of us who don't have an s7 device, its new.
