Internal and SD Card Storage are the same??

Hi

My G4 storage seems to be combining the internal and sd card storage together when calculating.

For eg. For spotify, I have 14.78gb on the sd card and when I clear some of that storage, the internal storage reflects the amount cleared but the sd card storage remains unchanged.

Moreover when I click on 'Apps' and 'Sort by Size" under "on SD Card', it doesnt show that spotify has 14.78gb of data.

- Is this a common issue?
- Shouldnt the storages be separate?
- And why isnt the data reflected accurately under the SD Card?

Spotify keeps internal data (where you are in which track, etc.) in internal storage. That's what you're clearing. It keeps (probably) music tracks on the SD card - you don't want that cleared.

The phone appears to be working normally.

Hi Rukbat, thanks for the reply.

Hmm no. Its exactly when I clear the SD card data, the internal storage is seemingly cleared instead whereas the SD card doesnt seem to.be cleared as shown in the pics.

In the example shown above, I undownloaded a playlist of music tracks.

There are also examples for other apps like Manga Rock. When i clear the downloaded manga (which is shown to be stored on the sd card), the internal storage is cleared instead.

Its just so weird
