Guys:

I just got the new Droid maybe a month ago, it's a great phone. I had a silly inquiry about the internal memory on the Droid. How is it used? Is there a situation where you can selectively use it? Is it just some void for app memory??

Internal memory is x specific... for app storage among other things. I don't think you have access. However, the SD card is accessible and with 2.2, you can store app programs on it, your music, photos, bodies, ringtones, etc.

Yeah we really need someone to hack this for us. That is a lot of memory for apps.

I believe apps are installed to the internal memory by default, unless you choose to move them to the SD card.

don't think I would ever have 8 gigs of apps. Would be nice to access that for sure.
