Internal storage vanished!!

[Android Central Question]

i have been using samsung a50 128gb internal storage device for 1year now....due to some repeated restarting problem,i took it to a repair shop...the repair shop said it cannot be fixed...then i brought it home and ,out of anger,hit my phone on some wooden furniture...then surprisingly,it opened and unfortunately there was a factory reset...ny problem is that now it is showing that my internal storage is 16 gb only!!!!but i had 128gb internal storage...whats the problem??did the repairman do something??what can i do??

Welcome to Android Central! Did you buy the phone directly from Samsung or a carrier, or did you get it from some 3rd party seller? If the latter, then it's possible the phone is a fake/knockoff.

Are you certain the repair shop didn't do anything to the phone? Did they try to replace the motherboard?
