International call alert when not international

Whenever I make a call in the United States, where I reside, notification at the bottom shows up that I am dialing an international number and am I sure I want to proceed. I think this started about the same time as the pie update. I have a Verizon phone. Is anyone else experiencing this? I checked in my settings and I am set to the United States. Thank you

I have the same notice when calling a some local numbers withing the states. It appears for me when I look up a business from the web and call from there. I think it's because they include the 1 before the area code.
