No sign here in the UK so far on an unbranded handset...

Checked yesterday and this morning.

I have the international version on straight talk here in the U.S. I've been checking daily since it was announced but still says my phone is up to date.

Dear ________,

Thank you for contacting HTC regarding your HTC One X. My name is Robert and I am a Technical Support Agent for the HTC Written Team. I understand you wish to know when the latest Android 4.0.4 OTA update will be coming to your device.

We are very happy to hear of your interest in the latest Android/Sense update for your device and we appreciate you taking the time to contact us.

In answer to your query the HTC One X Android 4.0.4 software update is being rolled out as we speak, To unbranded devices. The servers can only handle 30,000 updates a day so you will have to be patient but you should receive the update soon. If your device is branded to a network e.g. 3, please wait for the network to release their branded software. The update is only available ota (over the air). There is also no way of installing an unbranded update on a branded device. To manually search for updates please go through the following steps as described in the link below: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...owto_if...ype%3D1%26p_id%3D440&token=Yvvqvu_C For the latest news releases Please go to Our official HTC website,

Or web Fan pages e.g. Facebook & Twitter. HTC thank you for your continued patience and co-operation at this time.

[Release Note for Europe] HTC Sense Version: 4.1 Android Version: 4.0.4 Software number: 2.17.401.2 (For Europe) Rollout date: 08.10.2012

I hope that this information meets with your requirements, should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Just install it yourself via the RUU.

I did it, and just to receive the new hboot

I'm now back on ARHD 9.1 with my unlocked bootloader.

HTC ONE X now outperforms SGS3 on quadrant & Antutu - which is interesting as both devices are now running android 4.0.4 so the tests are more valid.

Sense home screen smoothness is now really smooth! Jelly Bean-ish :-)

If HTC does not wake up they will brake like Blackberry did. HTC give a to customers, it is all about announcements.

You brake to slow down; if your brakes fail and you drive through a plate-glass window, you will break it.

Still no update here, but a little patience never killed so I'll wait.

I am watching this thread with great interest, since mine will be here next week. How sweet would it be to turn it on and get the update right out of the box?

When I got my HOX off newegg in June I remember there was an update out of the box. I think it was suppose to fix WiFi issues. Mine has been great, hope you enjoy yours as much.
