International- Wifi?

I have a Droid X and was wondering what the best solution to use it to make calls in Spain for my vacation next year. I was looking at the non-Verizon version of Skype since the Verizon version is 3G only. Are there any other options to make calls???

There is Fring (with fring out) for calls over wifi. If you're going to be there for a decent amount of time, it is a good idea to pick up a cheap prepaid phone. Calling will be cheaper (for local calls anyway) and you won't be tied to wifi.
