I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now and I must say it's a bada$$ little machine. However, when I use the browser, it doesn't matter what the website is - I can't get any form entries to function.

What I mean is, I go to a website like Google, or Facebook and when I enter a search item or my username/password, when I hit "enter" or "go" or even use the button on the site itself the browser does nothing.

For example, I go to Google and type in "Free Ringtones" and hit enter... nothing, it just sits there. I hit the search icon next to where I typed the info in... still nothing. How can I fix this? What good is web browsing if I can't even search for things or log in to sites??

Please help this is incredibly frustrating.

I have something to add. Anyway to turn off mobile webpages and have the full page displayed? I know it's an option on the Evo, so I didn't know if it was an option on the Optimus. Maybe an app/widget I can download if not built in.

Hi, Swerv.
Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about your problem - that's a weird thing happening. Did you try powering off the phone and back on to see if that could fix the issue.

I know that on the Evo you can find that option when your on a website. Press menu then more, settings - and uncheck mobile. I don't know if that's how it work on your device.

Wow rushrl... I guess it just takes a second opinion. Until you mentioned that I hadn't realized that I haven't rebooted my phone in over a week.

It worked. Aaaaand I feel like an idiot. Anyway thanks for your help.

You're welcome. I reboot or restart my phone every night before going to bed. Clear history, cache, and cookies occasionally. These phones are mini computers they need to be rebooted occasionally.
