internet unstable

I have Android Version 4.42 and get the message your internet is unstable...what is the fix?

Welcome to Android Central! What device do you have? Try going to Settings>Wi-Fi, tap the Menu button and then Advanced, and look for an option for "Avoid Poor Connections," and uncheck it. If there is a "Wi-Fi Optimization" setting as well, uncheck that--it's usually more for battery saving rather than reception improvement.
