intex aqua marvel

I've an intex low memory android named aqua marvel. It has facebook and a dozen extra apps pre-installed which i am not able to uninstall. I've heard a bit( not a lot) about rooting android devices. All i wanna know is that , will rooting my phone uninstall fb
& all other apps? If yes, how do i do it? & if no, how m i gonna get rid of it(rather i want to install it on my sd card.) So please help. I need it a lot.
also i want to upgrade the android version if possible. Mine is 2.3.6
