First of all, kudo's to AC. While I'm a newly registered user, I'll admit to being a long-time visitor to the AC arena for quite some time. I'm a researcher & tinkerer, and love the range of freedom the Android platform provides from basic personalizing up through rooting and custom ROMs. Unfortunately my disposable spending budget tends to limit my habit so I tend to live rather vicariously through others.
I've had a NOOK color for the past year and have had fun running CMOD7 & 9 via SD card (my first hands-on exposure to Android). And I'm looking to pull the trigger on a galaxy S3 soon (my first smartphone, yeah I know, late to the party
). We're currently with Verizon, but I'm not so sure I want to buy my S3 through them... may end up jumping ship for another carrier (global capabilities, unlocked bootloader), although it'll likely cost more. We'll see.
Anyway, looking forward to learning more, and seeing where this takes me.
