Introduction and question about charging overseas

Hi, I'm a new member. My name is Karen and I live in upstate NY.

I just got my Nexus 7 tablet last week. I'm quite pleased with it so far. It's my first tablet and I got it primarily to use while traveling. We're taking a trip to the UK in the fall and I'm wondering if the charging unit that came with the tablet will work in the UK (we're going to England, Wales and Scotland.) Or will I need to purchase some sort of adapter?

Sorry if this is an obvious question - I did search the forums but didn't see anything that addressed this.

the pin on your travel charger might not fit the sockets in the UK so its best to get a universal adapter for use while you're on your trip
