I've still got and love the Droid 1, haven't had a very compelling reason to root it but I am getting very tempted - I've been looking at tablets and would like to be able to tether to the Droid, as I understand it this is only possible via rooting.
I did manage to root and install a custom ROM on a PanImage 7" tablet (yep the QVC one from a year ago) but the battery only lasts about 42 minutes....
