Hi Everyone 
I've been lurking for the last couple of weeks and finally decided to go ahead and sign up so I could post and make comments/ask questions.
My name is Steve. I am in South Carolina.
I have over 20 years in the pc service and support field. Certifications from several major manufacturers on pc hardware, server hardware, printers, and network software. I have an AS in Data Processing (25 years ago).
The computer field in my area pretty much died about 10 years ago. Way too many people and too few jobs. So, I'm a printer at the moment.
I have absolutely NO experience programming roms or rooting/flashing phones. I am looking at probably getting an android phone soon and thought that a little preparation might go a long way to my being happy with the device and not having all the hassles that others I know have had.
Hope everyone out here is doing well. If I can possibly help at some point, I will be more than happy to do so.
