Hi all!
After using my Sprint Galaxy S Epic 4G for over a year, I finally decided to root it. Wanted to get rid of the bloat and be able to use Titanium Backup. Ended up here. I am not a phone or computer expert; I make my living as a lawyer. But back when I was an honest man, I was a chemist, and I have worked with computers since about 1970. Broad experience, but not deep. My favorite Android apps are AK notepad, Doggcatcher, Aldiko, and Vlingo in about that order. I used to use Skydroid a lot, but I switched to a laser rangefinder on the golf course because of battery issues with the phone GPS. Basically, I'm a 20th Century guy trying to cope with the 21st Century; just don't have enough sense to stay down for the count.
