Hi,
Name is Colin and I'm in Auckland, New Zealand.
I came with a question. I have "The World Clock" app on my LG P500, but it doesn't know what day it is in Samoa. Something hasn't caught up with the fact that Samoa switched to the earlier side of the dateline on 30.12.11.
Do Android clock apps look at some international database for their times or is this a problem specific to the app?
Apologies if it has been answered before but my search didn't reveal and previous discussions.
Bye.

In the meantime I have tried about 10 clock widgets and I've come to the conclusion that those who create clock apps are convinced that no country ever changes its time. So forever I have to put up with whatever clock widget I use (if I actually bother with any) always showing Apia, Samoa as being still in yesterday.
Attention: clock widget makers: check the reference sites now and then to see whether any country has realigned itself - in hours or in days!
:( Very disappointed. :(
