iPad for Nexus 7?

perfect for books, but for magazines ipad is better.
but yes, like you said, the ipad is too heavy for extended use.

I read a lot of books for programming and school as well as checking up on Android Central. Reading, is fantastic. We have a family iPad 3 so I can compare. The Nexus 7 is no retina display but its great for reading and streaming video and such.

The Nexus 7 is so much more "fun" than my iPad 3 (eleven with it's issues...). Can't remember the last time I used it.

I have the new iPad and the Nexus 7 now. I think I will be keeping them both. Although I like android better then iOS .

is it greedy that I have an ipad2 and pre-ordered the nexus 7 with no plans of selling the ipad2? I like the ipad2 for work (taking notes, doing presentations) and I plan on using the nexus for reading, gaming and watching movies.

Nope...have an iPad 3 and a Nexus 7. I like the iPad 3 for content consumption but like the portability of the 7" tab (slides into my cargo pants pocket).

I gave my 1st gen ipad to my girlfriend after I got my Nexus 7 and I don't regret it one bit. I'm officially a convert from apple to android.

Been there done that..Sold iPad III and able to buy 2 GN7's...

The biggest + to the N7 is flexibly, small, light and compact.

One of the biggest grips when iPad rolled out last year was "Its heavy"

Great battery life and having flash, GPS off line and on line, and Google Now makes up for lower quality screen viewing.

Had the N7 today watching US Women s Soccer live and its a great pic!!

Should be interesting when "baby iPad" comes out next month..

I think it's a great product but honesty I am going to be returning it because I've ran into numerous defects. Right now mine has a weird horizontal line pop up when using tapatalk, and chrome browser. This thing gets really hot when gaming too.

I'll be returning this and just waiting for the tegra 3 Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It'll have Jelly Bean I heard, 5.5 screen, etc. I need a one thing does all device and that seems to be the closest thing. Be nice to only have to take one device wherever I go. I just can't get use to walking around with a tablet.

The Infinity series is awesome. But get the TF700. After the 7s screen you won't want anything less.
