I just received my google fold yesterday and transferred all my data with cord. All looks good but I did notice that the text messages with pictures didn’t not come over. This is a game changer for me as for as work related text. Can someone please help to let me know what I am doing wrong because I know with the amount of people that are switching android, there has to be a solution. Using google messages on Pixel. Thanks in advance

Can anyone help me?

Can try this app and use it to back up on the iPhone if it can then use it on the pixel 9 otherwise factory reset through settings on the pixel and try the restore process again but don't be surprised if it's not 100%. Because you're coming from an iPhone

Thanks. What app are you referring to?

There is got to be a way to get those pictures in messages transferred over, if not, I don’t see how anyone would want to switch to android from iPhone

You want the original iPhone message with a photo/video to be in the same message on the android?
If all else fails, using the Signal app, I transferred a bunch of texts with pics and videos to my new android from an iPhone 13 by forwarding them from Signal to Signal.

I don't recall the exact problem with the original transfer I had, but it is an acceptable solution for the old convos I wanted to save keeping the media in HD.
Good luck
