iPhone 5s vs Galaxy Note 3 vs iPad Air

Just picked up the Note 3 and am VERY happy with it! It's actually feels a lot lighter than most people think because the weight is very well distributed. I think it's also rugged enough to not need a case.

Great performance, awesome battery life, very versatile and it takes excellent photos. Much improved over the Note 2 and is not frustratingly laggy like the Galaxy S4. It's also very difficult to read on my iPhone 5s now after getting used to the screen on the Note 3 and iPad Air :p

Yeah, I can no longer look at my wife's iPhone 5 now without feeling like I need to squint. Lol

The Note 3 is a great phone when it's size is convenient, as is the 5s. The Note 3 offers some versatility the iPhone just can't match.

Now even my wife's old Galaxy S3 feels small to me..

Got me a Note 3 and gave my daughter my ONE who gave my wife the S4. What a difference the Note 3 is! Awsome!

I am a newbie, but several times I am out with friends and I felt very bad pulling out my Note 3 when my friends had their iphones out.. At one time I had to admit it, and tell them that I am sorry for doing this.. :D

In addition, it is going to be real tough to ger ahead of the Note 3. The bar has been raised so high, that others makers are in real trouble to even catch up.. Just my take.. :D

While the Note 3 is a great device you have to realize that the size is as bad to some as it is good to others. Not everyone looks at our Note 3s with admiration, some look at it and feel sorry for us. I really am able to see the good and bad points in the Note vs. iPhone discussion. If you only have one device than being stuck with a little 3.5" screen seems really bad, but if you're the type that has multiple devices and isn't turned off about being a cross-platform enthusiast then you can carry whatever device suits you or fits the occasion. Sometimes I want to carry the big bad slab of Note 3-ness around and sometimes I'd rather be a bit more discreet. It's good to have choices.

Gotta love gadget pr0n. I'm still torn between the white and black note. Leaning towards white so it matches my iPhone and iPad.
