iPhone on TMobile

So if you have an iPhone X locked to tMobile and have them unlock it when paid for will it work on Verizon and Sprint? Is there any way to preven tMobile from locking an unlocked phone as soon as you use their sim?

If unlocked it'll work on Verizon. It won't on Sprint.

I've heard of a few people who have taken unlocked phones over to T-Mobile and the phone was suddenly locked to T-Mobile. I heard this happening from callers on Leo's show.

I've never had that happen and I've bought unlocked iPhones since the 6S+ and used them on T-Mobile.

The rep at the Apple store said this has been a big problem since the X. Tmobile locks the X xS And xs plus unlocked models from Apple.

A guy on Twitter told me to buy the VZW model and activate it THEN go to tmobile and they can't lick that one. Trouble is you have to use it on vzw for at least 30 days before switching. I've given up.
