iPhone to Pixel Fold - go on; who's made this move?

I'm seriously considering selling my 15PM and AWU now that I'm constantly using my Pixel Fold (business number is eSIM, personal number is physical SIM) and I've got a Samsung Watch 6 Classic 47mm landing with me next week too

I'll miss the AWU TBH; it's superb. The iPhone, not really. Fantastic phone yes, but Android for me has always suited my needs better & the fold is doing the job of both phone and tablet for me now

Anyone on here made this switch permanently? If so; how have you got on/been finding it?

My wife made a similar change and loves it. She went from iPhone and iPad Mini to a OnePlus Open. She was in the Apple camp so long though that she made the 1+ look like an iPhone by enabling the "Standard mode." That causes the app icons to appear on the home screen(s) without an app drawer... and she doesn't use folders either. Having app icons spread over multiple pages that way drives me crazy (admittedly, in my case it's a short drive :) ).

Why would I have them if they're not useable?!
Even if a phone is usable when you make it your backup: That doesn't mean it will remain usable!

Maybe the OS gets too outdated to run an app you need. Maybe it's 3G, and then the 3G network shuts down. Maybe some component in the phone breaks. Or maybe when you need it: There are so many updates it needs before you can use it, that it's not usable when you need to use it.

That's why even a backup phone ought to be used from time to time, so that you know it will work fine if you ever need it.

Are you that bored that you love listening to yourself; no one else is... You also don't read replies

Already stated I use my Pixel 4XL and it works like it always has; faultlessly

One advantage of a slow forum is that threads don't get pushed very far down the queue.

So, how's the adoption of the Pixel Fold over an iPhone going? Just curious if it is working out okay and how you like it.

It hasn't... Didn't gel with the Samsung watch at all; so kept the iPhone but bought myself an AWU2 as I'd already sold my AWU

The Fold is still the device I use every evening for reading Kindle / magazines etc... But my 15 Pro Max is my main driver...

Too bad about the watch/Fold combination not working out. I've got the Pixel watch (ONE) and it is a fine combination for me. I actually played Dick Tracy with it twice the other day. Frankly, it is awkward holding ones wrist to one's ear and talking into the watch! But it was quicker than digging out the phone in a crowded fair.
