Hi there! A brief introduction: I’ve been an Android user since release 2.0 until 2019. Always had Nexus phones (user to get hands on some code, writing for third party roms etc, like really nerd) and I switched to iPhone because of the ecosystem (I use a MacBook and an iPad for work).

Was about to switch my 5 years old iPhone 11 for a brand new 16 but tonight’s event was ****: no Apple Intelligence in Europe until 2026 and no big news whatsoever.

So I’m tempted to get router login back to Android. The only fear I have is about apps login. I usually login with Apple ID, how would this be managed under Android? Because not all the apps and games have the possibility to add multiple account once logged in, so I fear this could be a nightmare.

Someone that already did this could help?

It would not be straightforward, that's for sure! BUT most apps make it fairly easy to link accounts as long as the e-mail used is the same. For instance, I used to log into Spotify with a Facebook account, and then I started using my Samsung one. As soon as I tried it, it told me the e-mail was already associated to another account and if I wanted to confirm the link; provided credentials for both, linked, done!

Now, for Apple-only services, that may be tricky. Only one I've used is logging into iCloud via web and that still uses your Apple account. For Apple Music/TV, same thing: you just have to input your Apple account credentials (which may trigger a password reset/account validation; no idea why this happens every now and then when I try to log in from a non-iPhone).

Any specific services/apps you're worried about?

Welcome to Android Central! I think this would be up to the app developer. I believe most apps need to have two separate versions for iOS and Android. iOS versions may have an Apple ID sign-in option, while Android apps usually have sign-in options for Google (or Google Play Games) and Facebook (the iOS app might also have a Facebook sign-in option). I've never seen an Android app that has an Apple ID sign-in option, apart from Apple's own apps.

What this also means, unfortunately, is that any app you paid for in the Apple App Store will have to be purchased again in the Google Play Store. A purchase in one store won't count towards the same app in the other.
