IPhone to S7 edge

Hey there, I've made the jump back to Android and whilst the phone is great I'm having a few issues specifically with Google Now and the clock of all things!

Is there any way to access both from the lockscreen without having to sign in. It's real handy on the iPhone to set timers are call up siri without signing in.

I know you can you Google Now to unlock the phone with voice but 1 it's not that secure and 2 I'd imagine the battery would suffer since only the stupid inferior s voice has the low power option (so i've read anyways)

Any help would be great

I have it set as an application in the edge panel then I can just swipe to it from the lockscreen.

Thanks for the tip, never knew the edge was on the lockscreen, still not as handy as the iphone but it's a start!

Yes, I'm coming from an iphone as well, although I tend to bounce back and forth between android and ios. It functions pretty similarly unless the lock is enabled and then you have to unlock the phone after hitting the app. An extra touch from iphone, but not too bad.

Overall, loving this phone coming from my iphone 6s+.....very fluid and allows me to customize to my liking as opposed to being locked into the iphone way of doing things.
