Iphone to S8...

So I am making the switch from iPhone to the S8. First of all I wanted to know how to get all my pictures that I have backed up via Google Photos onto my new S8?

I want all the images saved onto the device and only use Google Photos as my back up.

Any other advice to make the swap nice and easy will be appreciated.

I have looked on this forum and have already ensured that I have turned off iMessage and facetime.

I am totally anti-apple, but can u move them to an AD card?. You should also be able to go to Google backup from the s8 as well.

Smart Switch is a good way to transfer from phone to phone. As long as you backed up to the Google account the photos should show through when you sign into that same account.
