I'm going to sound like a troll but I had my photon from day one to last Friday and loved it so much! Not one negative thing especially with CM9 but was getting bored with android having done literally everything you can think of so I switched to iPhone 4 and while I still love android this phone is really nice and I love apps

You might find yourself bored with ios alot faster, seeing as it's more simplified....Js

HAHA Jk. The iPhone is a cool phone but I mean everything is a little too tiny for me on it I dont know. That I like how with Android it is so much easier to customize how you send text messages, e-mail, and just the ease and how can share anything. When Apple makes OS6 a little more intuitive and some more useful features I might give it a shot. And am I the only one who does not like iTunes? I dont even like using it on my MacBook haha

I used to hate iTunes, but when I plug in at night it back ups everything it's a really nice feature, and I love hardware cause it's just beautiful! But there software is so dated

Backs up? I remember I once backed up one of my friends iPhones on my computer. Being how with most of my Android phones backups usually meant EVERYTHING was saved (or the SD Card was untouched) I did a full restore on his phone. He lost all of his music, videos and pictures if I remember correctly the only thing that was saved were his contacts. I may have done something wrong but who knows. I used the method where you right click on the iPhone and hit "backup"

... And yeah I will give them that the quality of the hardware is nice, I especially like the Black iPhone 5 but I think by making it longer instead of wider and longer they just made the phone look slimmer and girlier haha and well yeah the Software maaan. I have a previous gen iPod Touch and am on the newest iOS5 version and although the screen looks really crisp it bugs me how everything is not as customizable as Android.

My favorite part of the iThing5 is the "cool new cord". You know, the one that causes all of their customers who are invested in the Mac ecosystem who now have to spend EVEN MORE money on ANOTHER proprietary accessory adapter, OR have to buy all new accessory devices just to make it compatible. Good job, Apple. You get to screw your current customers twice with this new phone! The line starts down the block.

That would be because your computer wasn't authorized to hold his stuff.

If you auth your PC and phone, it works flawlessly.

Well I remember I did a backup of my iPod touch once on my computer in a similar fashion and I lost everything too. The only thing that actually saved were my settings I think. But my music, pictures and all the apps and stuff were lost...

How is that possible when all music and apps are synced with iTunes?

I am not sure. I dont use iTunes to play my music or anything. All I use it for is to transfer files from my Computer to my iPod. When I add songs to my iPod I drag and drop from an external hard drive I have or from the slave drive on my computer. So I mean if I go into my iTunes Media folder under music there is nothing there, ever. So that is probably the reason. I manually sync.
