iphoto no longer automatically imports pictures off my evo?

in the past, i'd plug my evo into my macbook via usb and iphoto would automatically start up and give me the option to import all my photos off my phone into iphoto. today, when i plugged in my evo, it opened iphoto but would not allow me to import the photos. the only thing that jumps out at me as a potential cause is i think there was a recent iphoto update this week. anyone else have this problem? how do i get my photos into iphoto now? i have doubletwist and have been syncing that w/itunes...is there anyway to use doubletwist w/iphoto? thanks!
