Curious on who uses the Iris Scanner?

* do you use It?

* Like it?

* any issues using It?

For me. I love it. I use it for Samsung pay. Works every time for at the stores.
I use it more often than the fingerprint sensor.
I wear glasses and I never have issues of it reading my eyes.
I really thought it was a gimmick when I got my Note 8, but it actually works for me and I am surprised at how fast it unlocks for me.

I will say when I set up my iris scanner I kept moving around with my glasses on (I guess I seen too many face ID set up videos)..and kept the phone at the farthest distance when it was reading my eyes. Not sure if that helps make it better. I had my coworker do that and his iris scanner works a lot better now he says.

Anyway. Was just curious who uses the Iris Scanner.

I love it, set up correctly it works 99% of the time, same with finger print

I do like it but I've turned it off as I always feel a bit 'funny' after using it. Hard to explain but it is instantly noticeable. Don't know if it's something that should concern me but it's put me off

I like it butter pracacikty wise didn't work. considering most of the time.im opening it on the sly to change a song when I drive which j do via memory without looking at my phone

I don't think I've even tried the iris scanner. I've been using the fingerprint since day one. I should check it out though

I like it and use it, but its definitely not 100%. I have it and FPS both turned on and usually simultaneously try to do both and which ever hits first unlocks. But recently I turned on the smart lock with my Gear S3, which is great because when my watch is with me then the phone just stays unlocked. You do have to be careful with that though, because if they are just laying next to either the phone is unlocked. I wish the Gear S3 had to be unlocked and on my wrist for it to work. So when I travel, I'm turning that off.

I have very thick glasses, never have been able to get it to work, so I just use the fingerprint scanner.

It hardly ever works for me, I managed to set it up once but it just never recognises my eyes it was even worse on my old S8 plus it never worked on that.
I wonder if eye colour has anything to do with how accurate it is? From the videos I have seen on YouTube those that found it fast and reliable all had dark colour eyes

I use it all the time. I also have set up Home button to go to the home screen as I unlock which makes unlocking your phone with IRIS scanner a breeze!

It does take little time to get used to right position for you as it needs to scan your eyes but once after that it's really quick!

I too use it with Samsung Pay and I love it. Works flawlessly and quickly. Much better than using the fingerprint scanner as I did with my old Note 5.

I want to use it but with them warning you about it, i opted for just the fingerprint scanner. Lol

I use it and love it. I also wear glasses and have brown eyes. I use it for Samsung Pay also.

I love it, for me it works 99% of the the times under any conditions, and yes I do wear glasses and have brown eyes.

Works brilliantly but have to hold phone up about a foot from eyes. Oh and in poor light I have to reach for the fps.

Works great with my hazel colored eyes. That seem to change color at times. So I have been told.

yes iris scanner most of the time and works great. finger print scanner in direct sunlight and bixby voice password when driving.
