Android Central Question

I've had my S9+ for a few days now, i keep trying to make the iris scanner recognize my irises, but every time i do so, it says "Your irises weren't recognized."

I tried many many times, and never did it show any sign of detecting my irises.

Then i went to the hardware test screen by dialing *#0*# and selected IRIS CAMERA TEST, i was getting a message that says "$Change: 13044645 $$Revision: #31 $"

Can anybody please enlighten me what that means. I tried googling it, no results.

I've uploaded the photos here for your reference: h t t p s://imgur.com/a/GO57aTU

That message is normal, the test iris screen should just close when it recognises you.

So I assume you have trained/registered your irises in the lock screen settings already?

Do you wear contact lenses, glasses? if so take them out/off if you do and re-register.

I never had been able to register my irises yet, not even once, it keeps saying "Your irises are not recognized", and no i'm not wearing any contact lenses, I have also tried in medium to low light conditions and with a good distance away from my face.
