I've tried to find if Alexa was compatible with UWB in our new Note 20 Ultra phones. Only thing I found online was from Verizon and wasn't too specific. I'm on Sprint/T-mobile.

Just trying to connect my home with my devices and wondering if the technology was there yet...

Has anyone been able to connect this way?

Have you downloaded the echo app?

I have. Only resource I'm getting outside of Alexa is a Zoro unit in my basement. The Alexa app works great but trying to see if this technology could be implemented with my units. I.e. garage door, smart locks on doors, etc.

not exactly sure what you are asking but if you are using your phone as a hotspot, then UWB should not make a difference. also you should still be able to use alexa when the app is open on the phone.

I don't think it is

Thank you. Maybe soon. I cannot wait to be able to just drive up to my home and everything self automate. I ride a bike 90% of the time vs drive my car so this is a big thing to me.

For me this would open the garage door, unlock my door, change my lights inside, etc. Now, I'm still just going the old fashioned way with opening up Alexa vs location proximity...

Can Bixby and Samsung Smart Things not already do all that for you?

They can but the difference between them and the new technology is totally different. You set the routine on the others whereas on what I'm asking, the only thing I need to do is simply drive up in my driveway without using my hands. This technology reads proximity with the device to control things. With my Alexa or Bixby, so far they are not linking. I've tried. If you know of something I can try, let me know.
