Is an LG V30 compatible with an OTG cable WITHOUT ROOTING to save files to a pen drive?

Without rooting my LG V30 I want to connect, if possible, with an OTG cable to a high capacity pen drive and move documents and pictures to it. Can it be done & if so, how?

Just plug the flash drive in. Rooting does not effect OTG capabilities. That's a feature available right out of the box for modern phones. The factor to consider is how big the drive will be and the format it's in. It needs to be exFAT or FAT32, and since higher capacity drives need more power it has to be within the power output capability of the V30. But anything 128GB and below should work fine.
