I have been using this for about 2 weeks for about 45 mins a day for e-mails and all of a sudden I can connect but the speeds are extremely slow and pages barely load?

Anyone have any thoughts.

Is network vision going on in your area? It is for me and sometimes the speed goes so slow a mobile site Google search can take 30 seconds :o.

It's Sprint... As I told you in the pm, if you are connected and your tethering to your computer, if it is working but slow it is the network. Signal has nothing to do with speed. It could be high volumes of users online our it's the network itself. There is really nothing else. Your phone can only throughput what is given by the network.

I have the same issues. Sprint is very off and on right now. Sometimes I can get 5mbs and 5 minutes later get 5kbs.

I'm barely getting 0 now. It seems like it is blocked all of a sudden. I can't even open an email.

And if you are doing it from the phone (on data not Wi-Fi) do you get the same results as you do tethering? My guess is you will.

I'm not 100 percent sure what you mean. I'm new to all of this stuff. What do you mean by the phone?

Got it. My Internet connection is much faster on the phone when tethering is off. I don't notice any difference from when I got the phone 6 months ago.

My tethering was very fast for three weeks and now it just completely stopped. It connects with no problems to any device but the way it is behaving seems like it is being blocked from working.

Download the speed test app on your phone and check the speeds.

the DL speed was 331KBS and the UL was 825KBS. I went to turn the tether app on and now the device doesn't see the tether. I did wipe the data to start fresh. Should I uninstall the tether app and reinstall or do the same with supersu?

Thanks for the help

331kbs is the reason is slow.... Settings and choose gs3.

I am not getting any connection now at all. Should I unistall and reinstall something

Never should have messed with it. It was working. Anyway you can uninstall and reinstall the apk. If you have titanium backup, use it. Otherwise you will need to use a root explorer setup for read/write and delete the apk from system app folder.

Last week, I was on my way home listening to my sports radio stream via radio.com...all of a sudden it just stopped. I rebooted the phone, tried a number of different things...no data was getting through. I did a speed test and had a 900ms ping, 30kbps throughput.... I updated the PRL and pings went down to 45ms and throughput increased to 3.1mbps/1.8mbps (down/up)... I haven't had any issues since.

I know Im an ass. I was trying to see whatever would work. I unistalled using titanium and re-installed and my ipad or computer is not seeing the connection

So anyone have any clues? I tried the other APk and it connects for a few seconds and then disconnects. I'd love to get this working again.

Thank you so much
