Is anyone concerned about optimization?

So it was kind of a poorly kept secret that the Snapdragon 820 version of the S7 ended up delivering a measurably inferior phone experience to the Exanos version. The processor was clocked at something like 25% slower, it wasn't as efficient, draining the battery faster, etc.

With that in mind, is anyone else worried that the S8 will suffer from a similar shortcoming? It kind of concerns me that Samsung themselves has never really addressed it.

For me it's a wait and see. Can't wait to get the phone and put it through it paces
