Is anyone else having their screen obscured by Ads and popup on here?

I understand that advertising and lures to get visitors to return to view more ads pays the bills and that is why I have avoided ad blocking. A popup for a giveaway that appears during a scrolling ad that can't be dismissed until after sliding the ad underneath is a bit nuts. Is this supposed to be happening? I came here in the hopes that someone who manages Android Central might see this and at least adjust timing or something before driving even more people to block ads/revenue or go somewhere else for Android news.

Yes, lots of ppl complain about that. I only use my phone and have ad blocker..

The browser version of Android Central seems to go in phases with ads. Sometimes not a problem, other times you just close all your apps because you can't back out.

Adguard works for me. I get the paid version and never see an ad. Has a great firewall too, it really keeps pesky bloat apps off line!

Oh the deeds of ads and adware. Adblock to the rescue on this one, I think it's nearly essential to be able to browse in today's society. We also need to establish some form of law regarding user-friendly ads. Pop-ups are just frustrating.

By the way, your redirects and such, are you sure your phone is not infected? Check your running applications or currently installed applications and see if you have noticed something suspicious.
