From usage / carrying around? Mine is in a case.. the screen is as clean as the day I got it 2 months ago.

make sure you dont drop it. other than that Nexus 7 screen is scratch resistant.

That's y they invented screen protectors..... they are very useful..... I got a 2pk from Big lots for $5......

It must be my case because my screen is is all of a sudden scratched up and it is very noticeable and it annoys me so much, the case has these little sharp fibers on the top which I think caused the scratches, I regret buying the case....

I've been carrying mine all over Europe in my day pack and it's OK. However, I did put a screen protector on it immediately after I bought it.
