Is anyone having issues accessing messenger on an android?

Recently since the end to end encrypted messenger update I have issues with messenger. I can only see my contacts active and last active status when I am also logged into my account on my desktop . I feel like there are two messenger accounts on my phone as well. I have uninstalled and installed the app but nothing changes. Also, my calls icon at the bottom of messenger is missing

How did you set-up messenger on your device? It gives these options , on my s24u no issues

I'll have to try that. I thought everything was transferred at T-Mobile, but I don't remember this screen. Thank you for the info

Can reset the app by clearing it's data then force stop it then u should see the screen set-up
