Everytime I connect my Honor 7X to my head unit in my car I'm unable to activate Waze or Maps, does Huawei / Honor do things differently? I have a Pioneer AVH-2300NEX. Waze and Maps work on the phone when not connected to the Pioneer, when connected Android Auto appears but unable to press navigation icon on Pioneer screen.

No problem with other smartphones, Alcatel Idol 3, Nexus 4, Xperia Z Ultra.

This is a Huawei bug from all I can tell.

Some people went to great lenghts, deleting Android Auto, and/or deleting Waze and re-installing, but in the end it seems that all you have to do, whenever this happens again, is go into your android settings, under Apps, under Android Auto, under Storage, and clear data/cache. When you next launch Android Auto it will have you again confirm priviliges and such, but then it should work.

I find that if I don't use Waze I don't see this reoccur, or if it does it is so rare I don't remember, but if I use Waze it seems to happen now and then and require doing this again.
