Is anyone NOT having any problems with Froyo update?

It's been like three days now and I would like to know if anyone is NOT having any problems with the Froyo update and if NOT, how did you update?
I myself have updated by downloading the OTA from Google, renaming to update.zip and rebooting, pressing volume, power and camera and then loading the update from there...
I have not had any singular show-stopping problems to complain about, just mostly gripes and complaints about features I do not like (IE: kiddie looking SMS).. (I would not know about TW problems as I don't care for it and use Launcher Pro Plus.)
After about 3 days now, my GPS is working better than ever. Lock is on par with my always accurate BB. The GPS can now accurately follow my every turn, unlike before when it was always a block behind or worse (mostly worse). I have changed batteries several times and GPS is still working so it seems to be permanent. I have not touched GPS Status or the GPS settings menu for fear of screwing something up lol.

No problems here. Used Odin to flash the stock version of Froyo - no problems. Then went to Quantum ROM, then Truly Epic ROM and still no problems :D

Awesome, is your GPS still holding as good? I am amazed how fast I get near instant locks.

I experience an odd glitch where i listen to a voicemail and the screen adjusts to a much brighter setting and stays there until i readjust to my low setting. Not sure why it does that.

Other than that i've experienced virtually no problems.

I flashed a rooted version of Froyo via Odin/Clockwork.

using Quantum rom after flashing DK28 modem via odin and the rom via clockwork after a couple of wipes. No problems at all, I think the trick is to properly do the wipe so you get a clean install, and then only selectively restore data backups for the apps where it matters.

I had an earlier sotck Froyo rom that wasn't nearly as fast as this one.

How is your battery life? I couldn't get GPS to work which bothered me, but
my battery life went to hell - back to September madness, and I couldn't live with that.

I was running stock, rooted, upgraded via Odin, and reinstalled less apps than previous. Performed all needed battery tweaks (airplane mode, DRM, Media Hub, Wifi check) and it gobbled my battery.

So far just 1 gripe - GPS. It's not locking, but I'm getting good range/response when I do directions, traffic, etc. SprintNav is the only one that hasn't worked since the GPS is not locked. Battery life has decreased.

Since coming from BB and working w/a leaked OS on RIM, I'm used to some glitches. So far, I can deal w/these glitches until the official 2.2 is released.

I've been running it since it leaked and I havent had any major issues. I'm running the stock Android launcher because I think its the sexiest thing since Halle Berry and I will occasionally notice that the app drawer takes a second to load the apps and it doesnt look the best in landscape orientation but aside from that, no issues that make me want to go back to Eclaire! :)

I performed a complete wipe then flashed the update.zip from Recovery

My battery life is the same actually.. I unplug from charger at 6am and it lasts me till the end of the day when I either charge or switch batteries. I turn off Wifi and 4G when I get to work as signal in my office sucks anyway. As stated my GPS is working great now even after two battery changes. I get locks where I could not before as well.

I updated the same and have zero probs and zero lag (except for the extra unneeded animation in the gallery that makes it super slow), but I did not do any wipes as I assumed based on the google file name it was meant to just be updated as is from a running stock. Not sure/doubt if that's true but just what I thought/assumed at the time when I saw the filename..

I have not had any problems at all.
About the animations, go into your settings>display>animation> and then I have some animations but u can turn them off

I have set as no animations but the gallery is exempt and that setting has no effect.

I have since returned to stock form, but for the 2 days I was running Froyo it worked very nice. Only issue I had was the battery was definately draining a lot quicker than pre-Froyo and now that I'm back on Eclair its returned to a better battery life.

Otherwise GPS locks were good, stock Eclair I get 30 meters at home. Froyo would lock in at 10 meters, so definate improvement.

Everything else seemed good.. No major issues, no FC's, worked pretty darn good for a test build.

BTW, I did the upgrade using the update.zip to card, no Odin. Worked the first time, no problems and no factory reset required to fix any of the reported little glitches people were having.

You have cracked the code my friend.

Good GPS and battery life here btw.

Can you explain how to do a wipe? I have froyo & the only issues that I have are GPS & Battery life.

I love my Froyo Epic. Updated via .zip from unrooted 2.1. I have no GPS/battery/auto rotation issues.

Depends on if you're rooted and have Clockwork or not. If not, I believe there is an option in the stock recovery to wipe - you would do that and then install Froyo.

No major issues for me. Sometimes the redraw after an app exit is slow, battery seems a little worse for me as well. System gets bogged down here and there but overall it has been worth the update for me. I don't feel like I lost anything. It does suck that issues have been different for a lot of people.
I think Sprint should be ready to release primetime froyo really soon for the Epic. I just hope it's before the EVO gets gingerbread.

Froyo on my epic has been great as well. I did have an issue with GPS not locking and just pretty much useless. I did do a battery pull while the device was on and now my GPS works. Also did a reboot and double checked that GPS was still working. Yes I do notice battery draining a tad faster though...overall I am pleased with the unofficial update. I also installed the update via my phone and did not use a PC or Mac as I was on vacation.
