Is anyone using a car mount?

I have been using a car mount for a long time. I put my new Note in it yesterday for a few minutes and then today on my way to Costco. As I was driving I remembered reading in a thread someone hearing of glass horror stories and some of those stories were from car mounts.

I immediately took my phone out of the car mount. The mount is pretty tight and I am worried about all that pressure on the glass.

That looks really nice. Is it tight on the phone? My mount is old and universal and it is really tight and scary.

I just picked this guy up, really easy to use, I feel it holds snug but not going to damage anything at all. I had seen the wireless ones for the car but I want to fast charge when in the car.

I'm using a ProClip mound with the iOttie Easy One Touch 3 head. Works great. The arms of the iOttie do snap shut pretty hard so I use my fingers to slow down the closing. My Note 7 is in the Otterbox Commuter so it's pretty protected of the sides.
