Is contact info retrievable from a Motorola XT1056 Cell Phone

After an Android update for my phone was installed, it will not load up all the way and allow my phone to be used. I have tried soft and hard re-boots at Sprint with no success.

Welcome to Android Central! Doubtful. Locally saved contact info is in a SQLite database file in a protected system directory. Are the contacts you're looking for only saved to the local Phone account? If so, you won't be able to get the info. This is why I always recommend saving your contacts to your Google account, since they get synced automatically to your Google Contacts in the cloud.
