I ordered my HTC U11 over a week ago. Amazon promised shipping 6/9, with delivery by Monday June 12, even though I'm a prime member and paid extra for overnight delivery. Amazon sometimes contracts with other distributors and warehouses. I've never had a problem with Amazon orders for complete information and prompt shipping when it was an Amazon warehouse. I have absolutely no shipping information at this point on June 10 and yet the same model I ordered is showing available to be delivered By 6/11 (Sunday).
From past experience I believe that digital river co. is involved again with HTC and BlackBerry orders ( contracted through Amazon) & they really have the worst service & joke distribution CS ever....

Digital River ships HTC.com orders. But for sold and ships from Amazon listing, Amazon will fulfill from their warehouses. Obviously, being the launch week HTC has to fulfill orders to Amazon so that they arrive at Amazon warehouse. Digital River could be involved for the HTC to Amazon warehouse fulfillment but they shouldn't be involved between you and Amazon.

I would call Amazon. They're usually very good at sorting these things out.

The total lack of information is what made me suspect digital River. I've never had trouble from Amazon before. Amazon showed STOCK yesterday with delivery today, or Sunday on their web page for NEW orders. I called Amazon and even tried to cancel the order (to reorder) and they said it was in shipping (too late to cancel). I ask if it was held by a third party and was told no. I passed on $50 off just to NOT deal with Digital river and ordered on Amazon. This is the response from Amazon this morning, and still no shipping info:

"Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you have not received an updated on this order. I'll definitely help you with this.

Upon checking your order, I found the problem that is preventing your order from getting into you that causes a delay. The item wasn't available at the Fulfillment Center which has been assigned for your order. Therefore, we had to obtain the item from another fulfillment center and it took additional time to ship your package.

I've checked and confirmed that your order has entered the shipping process, and is currently being packed for delivery. We'll send you a confirmation email, once your order is shipped.

You can check the most up-to-date status of your order in Your Account, here:"

My hope in posting is that manufacturers see what the results are from dealing with inadequate distributors.

Has anyone received an order (or shipping info) on an order placed through Amazon yet ??
