is doze putting my wifi to sleep?

I've noticed today after the update that when my V10 sits idle and i pick it up the wifi signal is off. It pops back on like 10 seconds after waking the phone. At first i thought darn the update screwed with my wifi, but I'm wondering if it's that doze?

Doesn't the wifi detection use relatively little power though?

Go to advanced wifi settings.. And check where it says keep wifi on while screen is off

Yep thats already checked as YES. It's super odd.

Yes, mine does that too. Even with the usb cable plugged in. Doze is not supposed to work with the cable plugged in.

According to Verizon/LG both Doze and App standby are built into the system update. No accessing them. Already inquired about it.
