I downloaded the Google Camera App from the appstore and although I don't like the interface as much as the stock camera app....I'm starting to think the image quality is usually better with the Google Camera app compared to the Moto camera app. Has anyone else tried this? Just curious if I'm the only one who's noticed this...

Thanks.

I haven't noticed any difference to be honest. I prefer the Motorola Camera app as well for its simplicity, but I have the Google Camera app installed for things like photosphere, and photo now blur.

I haven't noticed s difference in quality either. The only reason I have the Google Camera installed is for features three Moto X camera lacks: photosphere and exposure control.

I rarely find a real use for photosphere, but when I do, there's no substitute. Exposure control helps in low light situations where using the flash would be problematic (extremely close shots).
